Trump Warns of “Very Strong Action” to Iran

(MENAFN) President Donald Trump stated Tuesday that the United States is ready to take “very strong action” should reports of Iran planning to execute demonstrators prove true.

In an interview with a news agency, Trump remarked: “I haven't heard about the hanging. If they hang them, you're going to see some things ... We will take very strong action if they do such a thing.”

When asked about his “end game” for Iran, Trump responded: “The end game is to win. I like winning.”

His comments followed questions about a post he shared earlier on his social media platform Truth Social, where he wrote: “Help is on the way.” Trump elaborated: “Well, there's a lot of help on the way, and in different forms, including economic help ... We put Iran out of business with their nuclear capacity,” referencing US strikes on Iranian nuclear sites in June of last year.

Addressing the uncertainty surrounding casualty figures from the ongoing protests in Iran, Trump added: “Nobody's been able to give us accurate numbers about how many people they've killed.”
